Im a total sucker for a beautiful building with an interesting history and combine that with a wedding and I’m all over it. When I saw Wendy Grant’s photos of Anna and Marcus’ wedding I was hoping I’d be able to share them here on SYW and luckily they said yes 🙂
How would you describe your wedding day?
Perfect, surrounded by all my friends and family in a beautiful setting.
What was your favorite part of the day?
When I realised my parents had surprised me with a Harpist for the service.
Any words of wisdom for couples planning their wedding?
Have a good relationship with your photographer. We did a pre-wedding photo shoot which enabled us to get to know one another so we would feel more comfortable on the day having our photos taken.
The best advice you received for your big day?
Just enjoy the moment and remember everyone is there for you. Take time out from the day for five minutes together to soak everything up.
I loved the idea of a framed photo from their pre-wedding shoot which they framed and had their guests sign. Here are a few of shots from Anna and Marcus pre wedding shoot. How cute is their dog!
Anything you’d change?
I forgot to take my veil off after the service, wish I had taken it off sooner so everyone could see how my beautiful my hair was.
