The weather is pretty miserable here in the UK at the moment, so Im pleased to be sharing a bit of sunshine today. Edelgard and Orlando got married in Cape Town overlooking the sea. What also caught my eye when I saw Nikki Meyer’s beautiful photos was the brides and bridesmaids stunning dresses! I love the dusty colours, gorgeous fabrics and the individuality of each piece.

Do you have any words of wisdom for couples planning their wedding?
Discuss everything together, compromise, pay everything up front, don’t have big expectations – they will cause disappointments and just enjoy every minute it ends so quickly. Keep that special feeling for as long as possible even if you have to watch the video. There is no better feeling of love once you have got married
The best advice you received for your big day?
Relax – let everybody else do their jobs you have paid them to do. Nobody!! notices if things are not exactly as planned
Anything you’d change?
My hair and I’d pay attention to my dress as to how the sleeves were designed to sit (kept on putting them over my shoulder )
