Twinkles and Stars Mood Board

I thought I would bring in one of my favourite little shapes today for some mood board loveliness. Also as it’s so close to Christmas stars seemed rather appropriate.

There is so much versatility with stars as they can be all bright and twinkling to create magical receptions or stripped back with more of a constellation theme. They are also perfect for the DIY couple, as there are so many ways to include stars in your wedding which you can do yourself. Check back next week Tuesday for some fantastic tutorials!

1. If you haven’t seen Erin from Berin Made’s work then now is your chance. These beautiful favour wrappers were featured in Erin’s post on popular Love My Dress Blog.

2. These beautiful hand made stars from Apples Modern Art on etsy are made using pages from vintage books. Not all stars need to sparkle, but can be just as gorgeous in print.

3. I saw this stirrers on Inspired Bride and I have been trying to find an excuse to make them ever since. They were made for a shoot which was featured on 100 Layer Cake which is just gorgeous!

4. This is such a cute dress from Alice and Olivia called Tallulah (sadly last season) and comes from a beautiful shoot in Atlanta Weddings Magazine which was styled by the amazing Ginny Branch and photos by Harwell Photography.

5.  and 11. Martha Stewart always knows how to throw a classy  event and the star decorations and aisle runner are such a great way to bring DIY starts into your wedding day.

6. Cool star sparklers! Love this photo by Paper Antler.

7. If you want to keep that starry theme with you before and after the wedding, this lovely Krikawa engagement ring could be just what you need.
