Aoui & Olivers Glamorous Wedding in the Philippines

I bumped into Paul Vincent Photography‘s website on one of my pretty picture searches and loved all the colourful and beautifully shot weddings and engagement shoots from the Philippines.

Today I have the fabulous wedding of Aoui and Oliver which was shot by Paul at the end of 2011. I’m pretty excited about sharing these photos and words from the couple as it has to be one of the most glamourous wedding we’ve featured so far, just look at that dress!

How would you describe your wedding day?

It was exciting, fun and overwhelming. We had so much fun because it’s a wedding where we can be ourselves. We don’t have to please anybody. It has a relaxed, happy and comfortable vibe. It’s because we invited only people who are close to us. We also felt like we are celebrities for one day because of the special treatment from everyone. =)

What was your favourite part of the day?
It’s the preparation at Manila Peninsula Hotel before going to church. Oliver and I were happy because our suppliers are super nice to us. They made us feel comfortable and a lot of them are super perky and funny, so we were able to enjoy every minute of it even though we are a bit nervous. For us, to wake up and prepare for the day is the peak of excitement. The feeling is unexplainable.

Words of wisdom for couples planning their wedding?
Even though planning 1 year ahead may seem exaggerated for some couples, I believe it’s the perfect time frame to plan a wedding. It will avoid the unnecessary stress and cram.=) We planned our wedding 6-7 months before so we had our stressful moments but thank God we were able to make a wedding that many people appreciated. So thank you to all our suppliers and coordinator for their help.

The best advice you received for your big day?
Always put God in the center of your relationship.

Anything you would change?

Nothing =) We were really happy because all our suppliers did a good job. They all played an important part in making our day special (and of course our friends & family).
